Black Bean Brownies

MAKES 30 2-INCH BROWNIES | PREP TIME: 30 MINUTES, BAKE TIME: 40 MINUTES

Ingredients:
1 cup S&W® Black Beans, rinsed, drained and pureed in food processor
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
chocolate frosting (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.

In a bowl mix cocoa, butter, sugar, black bean puree and eggs until well blended. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into wet mixture.

Grease a 9 x13-inch pan with cooking spray and pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until done.

If desired, top with your favorite chocolate frosting.
